Obverse: male bust/torso facing right in a collar and decorative armour girded with a sash, holding a sceptre in his right hand and a helmet with raised visor and plume in his left; the figure's head divides the inner border. Rim inscription beginning with a cross with plant motifs: GEO, GW, H:D:G:MARCHI:BRAN:SAC:ROM:IMP:ARCHIC:E:EL:D:PRVS. Reverse: under a ducal mitre separating the numerals 16 - 36, a nine-field coat of arms with ornaments; on both sides of the shield letters D - K; rim inscription divided by the mitre and ending with a heart: AN, NG.BEDENCK.DAS.END. Date: 1636. Subject: George William Hohenzollern (Elector of Brandenburg; Duke of Prussia; 1620–1640) — iconography. Place/date: Ducal Prussia, Königsberg.
