Obv.: Bust of Bahram I facing right; on his head is a crown topped with a korymbos, hair and beard curled; pearl border. Legend in Pahlavi. Rev.: Fire altar; at the sides stand the king and priest (or god), each holding a scepter in one hand, the other resting on the hilt of a sword; pearl border. Pahlavi inscription, 273–279. Coin: diameter 24.5 x 25.5 mm, weight 4.32 g.
