Seal attached to a document concerning reports on the condition of roads and bridges along the letter delivery route. 1766, Poland., A close-up of an aged textured paper showing a circular red wax seal pressed onto it; the seal has an intricate raised design with ornamental flourishes and a central emblem, and there are a few small dark blemishes and fine cracks across its surface; the paper is a beige-cream color with visible fibers and slight creases, and there is a hint of dark brown ink strokes near the top edge.
