Ducat minted to commemorate the election of the king, August II the Strong (King of Poland; 1697–1706, 1709–1733), Omeis, Martin Heinrich (1650–1703). Obverse: At the top a crown, on its sides the letters DG. Below the crown crossed palm branches and an inscription in five lines: F.AES / EL: IN REG: / POLONIARUM/ D.17/27 IUN: /A:1697. Reverse: Rider with a baton on a horse galloping to the right. At the bottom left, the letter O. 1697. Saxony (Dresden), coin; diameter 19.7–20 mm; weight 3.41 g.
