Signed 'Butterfield / Paris.' On the underside: a decharge mark (lily flower in a rhombus) struck 29 VII 1684 to 1 X 1687. Date: 1684–1687. Place: Paris, France. Function: measuring instrument. Dimensions: height 11.2 cm, width 8.2 cm.
