Box with a lid by Henryk Grohman (1862–1939). Japanese, Edo period (1603–1868), 1st half of the 19th century. Container, height 0.7 cm, width 9.2 cm, depth 4.9 cm. Brown lacquer with decorative motif on the lid made of gold and silver takamaki-e; interior ginji, with gold takamaki-e or shibuichi.
