Obverse: crowned male bust in armor turned right, inscription in a half-circle: SIGIS-AVG.REX; at bottom in two lines: .POLO.MAG/ VX.L. Reverse: Lithuanian Pogon (mounted knight) turned left; below, under the crown, date divided 15 - 47; a tied monogram of the letters SA and the Columns of Gediminas (Coat of Arms of Lithuania) which divide the rim inscription: MONETA.MAGNI.DVCA.LITVA. 1547. Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Vilnius), Poland. Coin; diameter 22.3–23.0 mm; weight 1.82 g.
