In the foreground a bearded figure in a flowing robe raises an arm as another man lies on the ground clutching a cylindrical object; nearby a fallen figure is curled on the ground. The figures’ clothing and armor include helmets, chainmail, scale-like armor, cloaks, and layered garments. The background contains tree trunks and foliage, and a few long poles or spears rise behind the group. The image tones are monochrome with shades of black, gray, and off-white.
