Opposite her, a winged child figure stands on the table edge holding a long rectangular object, looking toward the woman; the child is nude and has curly hair and feathered wings. The table is covered with a cloth and displays a grid-like board and small round objects, while a few rectangular blocks lie on the floor near the woman's feet. The scene is set against an interior backdrop with architectural elements, a small vessel with a handle and a flame-like wick on the floor, and a patterned bench beneath the woman. The image is rendered in shades of black, white, and gray with fine line work and hatching.
