Unknown place of origin., A sepia-toned ink drawing shows a woman from the chest up inside an arched frame, wearing a beaded necklace and a decorative gown with ornate trim and fur-lined sleeves. Her hair is long, curly, and dark, pulled back at the top with a small crown-like headpiece. Her face has a calm expression with arched eyebrows and slightly pursed lips. One hand rests on her chest while the other is partially visible at her side. The background is a flat muted brownish-gray, and the image is bordered by a narrow lighter beige margin. Colors visible include shades of brown, beige, gray, black, and a touch of dark red along the bottom edge.
