Drawing on tracing paper glued with its entire surface to paper of similar dimensions, which is glued with its upper edge to cardboard. Date: 1830–1884. Place of origin: unknown. Drawing: H 10.4 cm, W 9.7 cm; Cardboard: H 35.8 cm, W 26.2 cm., A hand-drawn profile portrait of a person facing left, enclosed within a circular border on a rectangular sheet, rendered in black ink on a beige background. The figure wears an ornate headdress with a square top and a patterned side panel, and a high ruffled collar. The clothing includes a detailed, decorated bodice and shoulder pieces with vertical striping and small ornamental shapes, and a short sleeve with layered bands. The drawing shows fine linework and shading, with visible sketch marks and a narrow outer margin around the sheet. Colors visible are beige, black, and hints of darker brown in some spots.
