Several human figures gather beneath and around the central crucifix, some standing, some kneeling, and some seated, with a group of men sitting or leaning on the ground in the foreground. A mounted soldier on a horse is near the central cross, holding a spear, while other armed figures stand to the right. A group of mourning figures, including robed individuals, cluster at the base of the left and central crosses. A dark pitcher sits on a shallow dish on the lower left area of the ground. The drawing uses shades of brown, tan, white highlights, and darker brown or black ink for outlines and shading.
