Subjects/associations: Tatra Mountains, Giewont; Wincenty Lepkowski 1866–1935., A framed painted portrait of a seated man with a mustache wearing a dark jacket and a light-colored shirt with a patterned tie; his face and hair are rendered in warm skin tones with dark brown hair and a reddish-brown mustache. The background shows a muted landscape with blended shades of green, gray, brown, and touches of blue and pale beige, with some darker linear marks suggesting structures or forms. The ornate frame surrounding the painting is carved with a repeating curved motif and finished in dark brown with hints of reddish and golden highlights and an inner gold trim. The overall palette includes greens, browns, grays, blues, pale beige, warm skin tones, and gold.
