The design uses colors including gold, green, teal, red, orange, brown, purple, blue, black, cream, and beige. Within the two arched openings, stylized flowers and ornate latticework form the upper sections, while the lower sections depict a group of seated and reclining figures in layered clothing, shown in profile and three-quarter views, with varied hair and facial hair, some hands raised near faces and others resting; nearby are decorative urns or finials and curling leaf-like motifs. The circular medallion and arch tops contain looping scrolls and curvilinear shapes, and the panel base repeats floral motifs and architectural details with checkerboard floor elements visible near the center. The entire composition is bordered by a broad gold background and inner gold columns separating the two arched scenes.
