Two-grosz forgery of Sigismund II Augustus King of Poland; 1544–1572. 19th century . Coin: obverse—crowned male bust in armour turned right, separating rim inscription SIGIS.AVG.REX.PO.MDL; reverse—under the prince's mitre two coats of arms Pogon and Columns of Gediminas, below the value II, rim inscription MONE.MAGNI.DVCA.LITV.1565. Subjects/themes: royal bust, coats of arms, Polish coinage, iconography of Sigismund II Augustus, forgeries, male busts., A circular metallic object with a worn surface, showing a raised central design divided into two shield-like sections and surrounded by a concentric ring and raised rim; the metal appears silvery-gray with darker tarnished areas and patina, and the surface shows scratches and indentations.
