Reverse: Lithuanian Pogon; below the year 1562; in the rim between pearly borders the inscription: .MONETA....DVCAT9.LITVA. 1562. Vilnius mint, Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Coin., A single round metallic object with a worn surface is shown against a plain white background; the metal appears silver-gray with darker gray areas in the recesses and lighter gray highlights on raised portions. The object has an embossed circular border around a central scene that depicts a mounted figure on a horse; the horse and rider are rendered in raised relief with visible tack and clothing details. The surface shows irregularities and slight indentations around the edge, and there is a ring of decorative raised elements along the perimeter. Overall colors visible are silver-gray, dark gray, and light gray.
