Obverse: Bust of Faustina I draped, facing right; legend A·FAVSTINA. Reverse: Vesta standing left, holding a patera in her outstretched right hand above an altar and a long scepter in her left; legend CONSECRATIO in exergue. Date: after 141. Place of manufacture: Rome, Roman Empire. Medium: coin. Diameter: 31.5–33.0 mm. Weight: 22.65 g. Axis: 180°., A round, worn coin with a raised profile of a person facing right; the surface shows uneven texture and areas of corrosion. The coin displays a patina of dark brown and bronze tones with patches of lighter brown and hints of black and greenish discoloration. The raised portrait and surrounding details are visible in varying relief, with some smoother, shinier spots and other rough, pitted areas. The coin edge is irregular and slightly indented in places.
