Reverse: Pax standing left, holding a horn of plenty in his left hand and in his lowered right hand a torch with which he ignites a weapon; legend COS - II - II and in the fields PAX - AVG / S - C. Date c. 145–161, Roman Empire; Rome mint. Bronze coin, diameter 30.5–31.0 mm, weight 24.00 g, axis 345°., A round, worn coin with a dark brown and black patina showing a raised, weathered figure in flowing drapery standing in the center, with a raised hand gesture and an arm extended; the surface shows rough texture and lighter brown highlights on raised areas and edges, and the coin edge is irregular and slightly chipped.
