Reverse: Bust of young Marcus Aurelius in cloak paludamentum, without headgear, right, legend AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F COS with control mark SC below portrait. Attributes: bronze, diameter 32.5–34.0 mm, weight 21.15 g, axis 0°. Subjects/iconography: Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius caesar, portraits, paludamentums., A worn round metal object with a raised profile of a person's head in relief facing right, showing short curly hair and facial features; the surface has a mottled, aged patina with dominant brown and rusty orange tones, along with areas of darker brown and small spots of black; the edge is slightly irregular and darker than the center, and there are subtle raised decorative ridges near the rim.
