Reverse: Pax standing left, holding a twig in his right hand and a cornucopia horn of plenty in his left; inscription TR · POT · COS II. Iconography: Pax, personification, twigs, cornucopia. Roman Empire, Rome, 139. Coin denarius; diameter 17.0–18.0 mm, weight 3.27 g, axis 180°., A round metallic coin with a worn surface showing a raised figure of a standing person in profile, draped in a long garment and holding a branchlike object in one hand and a small round object in the other; the coin's rim is uneven with several small chips and indentations, and there are faint raised markings around the edge that form a circular border; the metal appears mostly gray with darker gray shadows and a few small greenish-blue oxidation spots on the figure.
