Reverse: PONTIFMAXTRPIIIICOSPP — Emperor in military attire standing facing left, holding a ball in his right hand and a spear in his left, SC on the sides, pearl rim. 225, Roman Empire 27 BC–476, Rome. Coin; diameter 28.5–29.5 mm, weight 25.40 g., A worn circular object with an irregular edge showing a dark brown and black patina, with lighter brown areas highlighting raised surfaces; a central standing human figure is visible in silhouette with draped clothing and an arm extended, surrounded by a ring of faint raised marks around the rim; the surface texture appears pitted and uneven with scratches and small chips along the border.
