Bust of Alexander Severus with laurel wreath and paludamentum facing right; pearl rim. Rev.: PMTRPII COSPP. Salus seated on a throne facing left, in his right hand holding a patera from which she feeds a snake coiled around the altar; left elbow rests on the back of the throne; pearl rim. Date: 222. Place of origin: Rome, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Coin; diameter ~19.0–19.5 mm; weight 3.60 g., A round metallic object with a worn surface showing a raised profile of a seated human figure; the object appears primarily in shades of gray and dark silver with areas of lighter silver highlights and subtle brownish-gray patina; the figure seems to be resting on a raised platform and one arm is extended while the other is bent, and there are faint circular ridges and irregularities along the edge of the object.
