Obverse: IMPCMAVRSEVALEXANDAVG — Bust of Alexander Severus with laurel wreath and paludamentum facing right, pearl rim. Reverse: PMTRPII COSPP — Salus sits on a throne facing left, in his right hand she holds a patera feeding a snake coiled around the altar, left elbow resting on the back of the throne, pearl rim. Date: 223, Rome; Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Coin; diameter ~17.0–17.5 mm; weight 2.70 g., A circular metallic object with a textured, worn surface showing a raised design of a seated human figure on a chair, a raised outline around the rim, and a decorative curved element near the figure; colors visible include shades of gray, silver, and darker gray areas, with subtle variations creating highlights and shadows.
