Reverse: Pax standing left, holding an olive branch in her right hand and a scepter in her left; inscription PAXAETERNAAVG; pearl border. Roman Empire, 222–228. Coin: diameter ~17.5–19.5 mm, weight 2.74 g., A round metallic object with a worn, textured surface showing a raised, shallowly engraved figure of a standing person holding a long vertical rod and a small horizontal element; the object appears mostly silver-gray with darker gray patina and a few small brownish spots, and the background is plain white.
