Jupiter naked in a cloak stands facing left, holding a thunderbolt in his right hand and a long scepter in his left, pearl rim. 223. Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Rome. Coin; diameter 17.0–19.5 mm; weight 3.02 g., A round metallic coin with a worn surface showing a raised figure of a standing person holding a long staff in one hand and a smaller object in the other, surrounded by a ring of faint raised marks around the edge; the coin appears in shades of gray and silver with darker gray areas in the recessed portions and some lighter silver highlights on the raised details.
