Bust of Alexander Severus in laurel wreath, armor and paludamentum facing right; pearl rim. Reverse: SALVSPVBLICA. Salus seated facing left, holding a patera in her right hand feeding a snake coiled around an altar; left hand rests on the backrest; pearl rim. Date: 222–228. Roman Empire. Mint: Rome. Coin; diameter 18.5–19.0 mm; weight 3.05 g., A round metallic coin with a worn surface showing a raised profile of a person's head facing right, surrounded by a raised rim and a band of small decorative marks; the coin appears in shades of gray and silver with darker gray shadows in recessed areas and slightly lighter highlights on raised features, set against a plain white background.
