Rev.: SALVSPVBLICA. Salus seated facing left, holding a patera in her right hand from which she feeds a snake coiled around the altar, left hand resting on the backrest, pearl rim. 222–228 CE, Roman Empire; Rome. Coin, diameter 17.5–19.5 mm, weight 2.27 g., A round metallic coin with a worn surface showing a raised depiction of a seated figure on a chair, the figure facing to the right with one arm extended and the other resting, surrounded by an outer rim with raised markings; the coin displays a mix of gray, brown, and dark silver tones with slight greenish and reddish patina in places.
