Reverse: VENVSCAE L ESTIS — Venus seated on a throne facing left, holding an apple in right hand and a scepter in left; at her feet a child with outstretched arms, pearl border. Roman Empire, struck in Rome, 218–222 CE. Coin: diameter 19.0 mm, weight 3.20 g., A circular dark gray coin with worn edges showing a raised design of a seated figure facing right; the figure appears draped and sits on a chair with a high back, one arm extended and the other resting, with a smaller indistinct object near the figure's feet; the coin surface shows lighter gray highlights and areas of wear, with irregular rim texture and small chips, and the overall colors visible are dark gray and lighter gray.
