Denarius of Elagabalus reigned 218–222. Obverse: Draped bust of Julia Maesa facing right, pearl rim; inscription IVLIAMAESAAVG. Reverse: Felicitas standing left, holding a patera over a burning altar in her right hand and a long caduceus in her left; pearl rim; inscription SAECVLIFE LICITAS. Roman Imperial coin, struck Rome, 218–223. Diameter c. 17–19 mm; weight 2.12 g., A worn circular metallic object with an irregular edge showing areas of damage and a slightly rough, pitted surface; the object has a mix of dark gray, silvery gray, brownish, greenish, and faint reddish tones, with patches of lighter metallic highlights where raised details remain; faint raised shapes suggest a standing figure or vertical form in the center and suggestive curved elements near the perimeter, all set against a plain white background.
