Sestertius of Elagabalus reigned 218–222. Obverse: Draped bust of Julia Maesa facing right, pearl border, inscription IVLIAMAESAAVG. Reverse: Felicitas stands facing left, holding a patera above a burning altar in her right hand and a long caduceus in her left; star in right field, letters SC at sides, pearl border, legend SAECVLIFE LICITAS. Roman Empire, struck Rome, circa 218–223. Bronze coin, diameter ~32–33 mm, weight 23.50 g., A worn circular coin with an irregular edge showing a raised central figure standing and holding an object, the surface textured with patches of green and dark brown patina, with lighter grayish highlights on the raised areas.
