Obverse: male bust in armor in profile turned to the right; short hair, long pointed beard with sideburns. In the rim an inscription beginning with a tower: -ALBER.DGMAR.BRAN.DVX.PRVSS; continuous border. Reverse: in the pearl border an inscription in six lines: +III+/GROSS.AR/.TRIPLEX/.ALBER DVC /.PRVSSIE./+I558+. Denomination and date between lilac crosses, 1558. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg; coin. Diameter 21.3 mm, weight 2.42 g, axis 0°., A round metal coin with a worn and uneven surface, showing a few dents and a small hole near the edge; the coin appears primarily silver-gray with darker gray areas in the recessed parts and lighter silver highlights on raised surfaces; a group of incised shapes and carved details form rows across the face but no text should be described; the coin edge is slightly irregular and the background is plain white.
