Obverse: male bust in armour in profile turned right; short hair, long pointed beard with sideburns. In the rim an inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; pearl border, plant motifs between the words. Reverse: in the pearl border an inscription in six lines: -III-/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I546-; the denomination and date are between trefoil marks. 1546. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 21.1 mm; weight 2.54 g; axis 220°., A round metal coin with a dark gray surface and lighter silver highlights, showing raised lettering and decorative marks across its face, with a small semi-circular notch missing at the lower edge and a lightly textured rim.
