In the rim an inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; pearl border, plant motifs between the words. Rev.: in the pearl border an inscription in six lines: -III-/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I545-; the denomination and date are between the trefoil marks. 1545. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 21.2 mm; weight 2.70 g; axis 140°., A circular metallic coin with a raised portrait of a bearded man in profile facing right, showing detailed hair and beard texture and a high collar; the coin surface is silver-gray with darker recessed areas and lighter worn highlights, and a ring of raised decorative elements and shapes around the edge.
