Obverse: male bust in armour in profile turned to the right; short hair, long pointed beard with sideburns; in the rim an inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; pearl border, plant motifs between the words. Reverse: in the pearl border an inscription in six lines: -III-/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-1544-; the denomination and date are between trefoil marks. 1544. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin: diameter 21.4 mm, weight 2.48 g, axis 90°., A round metallic coin with a raised profile of a bearded man's head in profile facing right; the surface shows engraved hair and beard lines and a textured background; a raised rim encircles the portrait with decorative raised markings around the edge; colors visible are metallic silver and dark gray with shadows and slight highlights.
