Obverse: male bust in armour in profile to the right; short hair, long pointed beard with sideburns; rim inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; pearl border; plant motifs between words. Reverse: pearl border with six-line inscription: -III-/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I544-; denomination and date between trefoil marks. Dated 1544. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin: diameter 21.2 mm, weight 2.51 g, axis 320°., A round metallic coin with a dark silver-gray surface featuring a raised profile of a bearded man facing right, showing textured hair, a pronounced ear, detailed facial features, and a layered ornamental collar; the coin rim is raised and bears a continuous band of raised markings; visible colors include silver-gray, dark gray, and highlights of lighter silver.
