Obverse: male bust in armour in profile to right; short hair, long beard with sideburns; rim inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVS; pearl border; plant motifs between words. Reverse: pearl border with six-line inscription: -III-/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I544-; denomination and date between trefoil marks. 1544. Ducal Prussia. Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 21.2 mm; weight 2.63 g; axis 270°., A round metallic coin with a worn surface showing a raised profile of a bearded man facing right; the coin displays detailed engraved hair, ear, beard, and a high-collared garment. The coin edge is irregular with a small chip and dent at the top. The surface shows areas of shine and darker patina, giving tones of silver and gray. The background is plain white.
