Obv.: male bust in armour in profile facing right; short hair, long pointed beard with sideburns. In the rim an inscription beginning with a trefoil: -ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; pearl border, plant motifs between words. Rev.: in the pearl border an inscription in six lines: -III-/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-I544-; denomination and date between trefoil marks. 1544. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 21.0 mm; weight 2.61 g; axis 290°., A round metallic coin with a dark gray to silver surface, showing a worn, textured finish and raised areas of lighter silver where the metal is more polished; the coin fills most of the frame against a white background and displays a series of raised horizontal bands and decorative marks around its edge.
