Rev.: in a double continuous border an inscription in six lines: -III-.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-1540- the denomination and date are between the trefoil marks. 1540; Königsberg mint; Ducal Prussia 1525–1701; coin; diameter 22.9 mm; weight 2.56 g; axis 225°., A circular silver coin with a raised profile of a bearded man facing right, showing detailed hair and beard texture and a stylized collar or armor at his neck; the coin has a raised rim and a band of raised decorative elements around the portrait. The visible colors are silver, gray, and hints of darker gray in the recessed areas.
