Albrecht Hohenzollern Prince of Prussia; 1490–1568 — iconography: trefoils, male busts in armour. Obverse: male bust in armour in profile turned to the right; short hair, beard with sideburns. Inscription around the rim: *ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS; continuous border, floral motifs between the words. Reverse: in the continuous border an inscription in six lines: -III-.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./-1540- the denomination and date are between the trefoil marks. 1540. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 22.5 mm; weight 2.57 g; axis 45°., A round metallic coin with a worn silver-gray surface, showing raised lettering and decorative marks across its face; the coin edge is slightly irregular with a small chip visible, and the surface has areas of darker gray patina and lighter highlights that catch the light.
