Obverse: male bust in armour in profile to right; short hair, beard with sideburns. Inscription around the rim: *ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS*; continuous border, floral motifs between the words. Reverse: in the continuous border an inscription in six lines: *III/.GROSS:AR:/TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./*I539* 1539. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin: diameter 22.1 mm, weight 2.59 g, axis 315°., A round coin with a raised profile of a bearded man facing right; the man has short textured hair and a detailed curly beard and mustache, and he wears a decorative collar or armor piece with layered elements. The coin surface shows engraved decorative lines and raised rim, with areas of wear and texture. The visible colors are silver-gray on the coin with subtle darker gray shading in the engraved areas and a white background.
