Albrecht Hohenzollern Prince of Prussia; 1490–1568 — iconography: male busts in armour, stars. Obverse: male bust in armour in profile turned to the right; short hair, beard with sideburns. Inscription around the rim: *ALBER DG MAR BRAN DVX PRVSS*; continuous border, floral motifs between the words. Reverse: continuous border with inscription in six lines: *III/.GROSS:AR:/.TRIPLEX./.ALBER:DVC./.PRVSSIE./*I538* 1538. Ducal Prussia 1525–1701, Königsberg mint. Coin; diameter 22.0 mm, weight 2.61 g, axis 60°., A round metallic coin with a silver-gray color showing a raised profile of a bearded man facing right; the man's hair and beard are textured with fine lines and there are decorative curved engravings near his jaw and neck suggesting clothing or armor; the coin has a raised rim and a band of raised lettering around the edge, and the surface shows areas of shine and darker patina giving a slightly worn appearance.
