Two texts: first 13 folios, leaf numbering 2–13 recto, first verso; second 11 folios incomplete, leaf numbering 2–11 recto, first verso. Underlining in red ink on folios 1 verso; 2 recto and verso; 3 recto and verso; 7 verso; 8 recto; 11 recto; 13 recto; 14 verso. 19th century, Tibet. Dimensions: width 27.5 cm, height 8.0 cm., A horizontal image of an open book or manuscript showing two rectangular pages with framed blocks containing lines of handwritten script; the pages are pale beige with visible age spots and slightly darker edges, and the ink of the script and framing lines is dark brown or black. The background around the book is a deep, muted purple. The top and bottom pages each have a centered rectangular text area bordered by double-lined frames and narrow blank margins at the left and right ends, and there is a visible crease or binding seam between the two pages. The handwriting appears in flowing, angular characters arranged in several horizontal lines within each framed block, and the margins and frames show some smudging and unevenness in the ink. The paper shows slight discoloration and wear at the corners and along the fold.
