Original text from the 15th century; this copy 19th century, Tibet. Graphics, width 24.6 cm, height 8.0 cm, An open, aged manuscript resting on a dark background shows two facing pages with rectangular ink borders and rows of hand-written script; the pages are worn with rough, uneven edges and small tears, and there are smudges, stains, and areas of darker discoloration across the paper. The ink used for the writing appears dark, and the paper itself is various shades of tan, beige, and brown with some darker brown spotting; there are faint shadows and a slight crease along the center where the binding meets. Overall the visible colors include dark brown, tan, beige, and hints of black in the writing, and the texture of the pages looks fibrous and aged.
