Bridle reins bridle fragment, maker, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911; cloisonné enamel on copper with leather ribbon and bronze fittings; decorated with fish motifs on a blue ground; horse tack riding equipment, length 86 cm; 18th century., A long fabric strap in shades of blue with a worn texture forms a loop, featuring metal fittings in a brass and darkened metal color at intervals and near the ends; the strap shows frayed edges and areas of lighter and darker blue wear, and a small cluster of metal hardware in brass and dark metal is attached at one end.
