Li-type incense burner, Chinese, cast in golden-red bronze with light reddish-brown patina. Flattened low body with twig-shaped handles and low legs. Inscribed/antidated signatures; style associated with Ming 1368–1644, Xuande 1426–1435 and Qing 1644–1911. Function: ritual/ceremonial censer. 18th century, China. Height 13 cm; diameter 26 cm; depth 6.5 cm., A low, rounded bronze vessel with a warm reddish-brown patina sits on a reflective surface; it has a wide rim, a pair of rounded arching handles with cut-out centers, and three short conical legs. The vessel shows areas of darker brown and subtle greenish corrosion inside the rim and along the interior, with small variations in tone and mottling across the exterior. The background is a smooth light gray, and the reflection of the vessel and its legs appears muted on the glossy surface beneath.
