Li-type incense burner, Chinese, ceremonial/ritual vessel. Ming style Ming 1368–1644; Qing 1644–1911; Xuande 1426–1435. Antidated signatures. Cast in golden-red bronze with a light reddish-brown patina. Flattened low body, twig-shaped handles, low legs. Signed. 18th century ; China. Vessel censer. Height 13 cm; diameter 26 cm; depth 6.5 cm., A low, round three-legged vessel with two short upward-curving handles, showing a smooth patinated surface in brown and bronze tones with areas of greenish verdigris, a darker interior, and a soft reflection of the object on a pale gray surface against a light gray background.
