Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 17th–18th century . China. Vessel; height 23 cm, width 19.4 cm, diameter 18.7 cm., A greenish bronze tripod vessel with a rounded body and a flared rim standing on three stout legs, showing a mottled patina of green and darker brown; the body is decorated with incised geometric patterns and raised dot-and-line motifs, and a rectangular loop handle rises from the rim with a darker, more worn surface; the vessel casts a soft reflection on a pale gray surface beneath it against a neutral light gray background.
