The ewer has a long curved spout with embossed ornament near its base and a decorative handle with a chain connecting to the lid; a few geometric openwork elements project from the neck area. The pedestal base shows vertical fluting highlighted in reddish-brown, and the domed lid has alternating silver and reddish-brown ribs with a sculpted finial on top. The surface of the metal shows a smooth, slightly reflective finish with sculptural detailing on the spout, handle, and finial.
