Teapot with a profiled foot and neck, with a rectangular lid topped with a plastic figurine of a lion. Decorated with panels filled with a motif of a blossoming plum tree and birds, bordered with plant twigs the motif in the panels is engraved and set with metal. Foot, neck and cap decorated with plant ornament powdered background. 19th century, China, vessel; height 27.3 cm, width 11.5 cm, depth 8.3 cm., A rectangular metal container with a stepped base and a square lid topped by a small sculpted animal figure, all in shades of silver and gray with areas of darker patina and hints of brownish-gold tones; the sides display framed panels containing decorative scenes of birds and branches in muted brown and gold against a light silvery background, while the surrounding metal surfaces feature engraved scrolling and floral patterns in silver and gray with subtle variations in tone.
