Foot, neck and lid decorated with plant ornament on a powdered background. Materials/styles: Chinese, huaniao birds-and-flowers style, fo and lion iconography, clouds. 19th century Qing dynasty, 1644–1911. Vessel. Height 27.3 cm, width 11.5 cm, depth 8.3 cm., A square metal container with an ornate stepped base and a narrow square neck sits center, decorated with intricate floral and foliate patterns and framed panels showing stylized birds and branches; the metal appears silvery with areas of darker patina and subtle warm gold accents. To the left of the container is a separate rectangular lid with a small sculpted animal figure on top, the animal and lid sharing the silvery metal tone with some darker shading. To the right lies a flat rectangular plate with a small rounded knob, also in a silvery metal shade. The background is a smooth gradient transitioning from light gray at the bottom to a darker gray at the top.
